Hello Kitty Island Adventure Sails To Nintendo Switch And PC In 2025

During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Sunblink announced that Hello Kitty Island Adventure–the Animal-Crossing-esque life sim featuring multiple characters from the Sanrio universe–will make its console and PC debut in 2025.

The game will first launch on PC and Nintendo Switch as a timed console exclusive, with ports on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 arriving later in the year. No Xbox version of the life sim was mentioned in the official announcement.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure was previously exclusive to Apple Arcade, and it was nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards last year. Players will create their own characters and follow Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and more as they rebuild a deserted island resort through minigames and challenges across multiple biomes and “over 100 hours” of gameplay.

The new console and PC port will offer online co-op play, which will allow players to visit each other’s islands, help solve tough puzzles, and build new homes together. It also includes no microtransactions, which means every in-game item can be earned simply by playing the game.
